About

Fable & Vessel was created as a gentle, containing space for individuals to explore their experiences through art therapy. I am Fazila Virmani, a HCPC registered Art Psychotherapist and CPCAB qualified Clinical Supervisor; my work is grounded in a trauma-informed, compassionate approach that prioritises safety, trust, and emotional attunement.

The name Fable & Vessel reflects the process of holding and expressing personal stories — where the fable represents lived experience, and the vessel offers a safe, creative space in which those experiences can be explored, contained, and understood.

My practice is informed by an anti-oppressive and inclusive framework, recognising the impact of social, cultural, and systemic factors on mental health and wellbeing. I am committed to creating a space that honours difference, centres lived experience, and supports individuals from diverse backgrounds in feeling seen, respected, and heard.

I support individuals in making sense of their inner world through creative expression, recognising that not all experiences can be put into words. Alongside therapeutic work, I offer clinical supervision to trainees and professionals, providing an art based reflective space that nurtures growth, ethical practice, and autonomy. Fable & Vessel aims to be an accessible and supportive environment where healing, curiosity, and personal development can unfold at your own pace.
